The WateReuse Association Pacific Northwest (PNW) section, in partnership with the City of Silverton, is hosting its third annual Summer Summit and Social on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at The Oregon Garden.
The Oregon Garden is a stunning botanical garden encompassing over 80 acres and featuring over 20 specialty gardens showcasing the diverse botanical beauty of the Willamette Valley and the Pacific Northwest. The featured wetlands and A-Mazing Water Garden represent a unique partnership with the City of Silverton; these garden areas cool the City’s effluent water which, in turn, is used to irrigate the Garden. Guests will also see sustainable practices such as green roofs, home composting, permaculture, and more on display. The event will conclude with a happy hour at the Garden.
